The Grand Lagoon – Sunrise Tour

Start your day early with a peaceful 3-hour boat ride through the beautiful Madu River, when the water is calm, the air is cool, and the river is still quiet. This is one of the best times to experience the natural beauty of the mangroves before the river becomes busy later in the day.

The special part of this tour is a visit to a beautiful mangrove lagoon, away from the main river route. As we slowly enter the lagoon, you can enjoy the quiet surroundings, narrow waterways, thick mangrove trees, and the peaceful atmosphere of the early morning. It is a lovely place to take photos and enjoy nature without rushing.

During the ride, you may see different birds becoming active as the morning begins. Depending on the day, you may also spot monkeys, water monitors, fish, and other wildlife around the river and mangroves.

If the weather is clear, you can also enjoy the beautiful colours of the sunrise over the water. The cool morning breeze and peaceful surroundings make this tour very different from a normal daytime boat ride.

This package is especially recommended for guests who enjoy nature, photography, bird watching, and quiet places. It is an early start, but the peaceful morning experience and beautiful mangrove lagoon make it well worth it.
